E/R NPP Chairmanship race: I’m optimistic – Jeff Konadu Addo
The incumbent Eastern Regional secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Jeff Konadu Addo has stated that he is very optimistic to cling the Chairmanship race in the region.
Mr. Jeff Konadu Addo is currently vying for the Chairmanship position.
The Regional secretary, whiles speaking to Republic FM’s Andy Frimpong Manso on the sidelines of the Popular Acclamation of the Abetifi NPP’s constituency executives in Kwahu Nteso stated that, he has served and is very optimistic that he shall be remembered and elected to lead the NPP as Chairman in the Eastern Region.
“I’m expecting that since I’ve served the Eastern Region, they will vote for me. When I was vying for the secretary position, Kwaku Andy led me and if I want to be Chairman today, I’m sure he will lead me and so I’m very hopeful and optimistic that I shall win as the regional Chairman”, he said.
Speaking on the new form of politics of the NPP in the Kwahu block, especially the Nkawkaw constituency in which Member of parliament aspirants form teams they would want to work with, he said, whenever there is a vacant position, royals definitely contest and nkawkaw is not an exception.
However, he reiterated the commitment bestowed in the Newly elected nkawkaw constituency chairman Andy Kwaku Ameyaw that he would definitely succeed in helping the party to win more votes.
