Rev. Owusu-Bempah Warns NPP of Dire Consequences Over Character Attacks

Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has issued a strong warning to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) over unprovoked attacks on his character by some party members ahead of the December 7 general elections.

A party member, speaking on Wontumi TV, vilified Rev. Owusu-Bempah, a known NPP supporter who predicted their victories in the 2016 and 2020 elections. The member accused Rev. Owusu-Bempah of persuading Archbishop Eastwood Anaba, Rev. Dr. Wengam, and Bishop Dag Heward-Mills to oppose Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng and obstruct the National Cathedral’s construction.

Addressing his congregation on Sunday, September 22, 2024, Rev. Owusu-Bempah expressed distress over the false accusations and insults. “They accused me of being the devil. I don’t know what sin I’ve committed against these people. How? It is very sad. I decided not to speak about it, but after seeing Apostle Amoako Atta’s dismay over NPP supporters’ attacks on me, I broke my silence.”

Rev. Owusu-Bempah shared his hurt, stating, “The man insulted me thoroughly, claiming it’s the devil who speaks to me, not God. Yet, everything they said was false.” He denied ever meeting with the pastors mentioned or discussing the National Cathedral.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah warned the NPP of severe repercussions in the upcoming elections. “Apostle Amoako Atta warned that this issue will work against the NPP… What they’ve done to me will really work against them. We have about 76 days to the elections, and we shall see!”

He questioned why NPP members are insulting and falsely accusing him of blocking the National Cathedral project.
