Photos: COKA steals show at Kuntanse maiden Adaekese celebration
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman hopeful in the Ashanti region, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 paid homage to the Kuntanasehene, Barima Ogyeabour Amankwah Adunan II maiden Adaekese.
The incoming regional chairman who was first to arrive was met with a rousing welcome amid cheers from the crowd.
The event which took place at Kuntanase in the Bosomtwe District saw dignitaries and government representatives, Ashanti regional minister, Simon Osei-Mensah, Yaw Adutwum, Member of Parliament for the area who doubles as Education Minister, incubent regional chairman for the NPP, Bernard Antwi Bosiako and District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomtwe, Joseph Assumin.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah made a donation of Five thousand cedis(5,000) to the chief in support of the palace project.
