I won’t ever be friends with Joey B- Pappy Kojo fumes on Twitter
Ghanaian musician, Pappy Kojo, borned Jason Gaisie has fumed at a fan on social media for requesting a music collaboration between himself and Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin aka Joey B, Purefmonline.com reports.
Pappy Kojo stated in his response as captured by Purefmonline.com to the Twitter user, Kweku Aboagye (@kwekuaboagye5) that he is never going to be friends with his once inseparable colleague as he is doing well on his own, and having his new song, ‘koobi’ featured on top music charts in Ghana.
“Me and Joey B are never gonna be friends again. Stop asking me about Joey B! (…) the narrative that narrative pappy can’t blow without Joey, Koobi is the hottest song out! Plus I don’t even like doing music anymore. I’m a pizza boy and a Tik Tok influencer.” Pappy Kojo tweeted.
The two musicians who were once devoted to each other have for sometime now grown apart.
Although it remains unclear why the duo are no more on talking terms, Pappy Kojo recently claimed in a Twitter Space interview that the cause of their split was his refusal to betray some long-standing friends of his [Snypa and Akitiwroro] when Joey B asked him to.
Pappy Kojo and Joey B have several music collaborations to their credit with ‘Greetings from abroad’, ‘balance’, ‘wave’, ‘realer no’, being top on the list.
