Ghana League Clubs Association Chairman Vows to Oppose Tenure Extension for GFA President
In a bold statement during an interview on Pure FM 95.7 MHz Hosted by Bright Kankam Boadu ‘BKB’, Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo, Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), declared his strong opposition to attempts to extend the tenure of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) president to a third term.
Fianoo revealed that “people are working underground to get the tenure of the GFA President extended to a third term”. But he firmly stated, “It will be over my dead body,” if such efforts succeed.
He emphasized the need for accountability in football governance.
His passionate remarks highlight concerns within the football community regarding leadership stability and transparency of Kurt Okraku’s administration as the Ghana Football Association President.
