Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Visits Oyoko Family, Seeks Support for Presidential Bid

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia paid a courtesy visit to the Oyoko Family at Adabokrom Palace on September 30th. During his address, he stated that with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s tenure nearing its end, he sought the family’s votes and support for his own presidential bid.

Bawumia assured the chiefs and people that, if elected, he would prioritize fairness and accountability. He also addressed concerns regarding LGBTQ+ rights in Ghana, emphasizing that they would not be legalized, citing biblical, Quranic, and traditional values.
