Management of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) has made a sudden U-turn on an earlier decision to stop private investigation body, Tiger Eye P.I from using its venue to priemere the widely adevertised ‘Galamsey Economy’ exposé on November 14 and 15, 2022, Purefmonline.com reports.

In a letter copied to Purefmonline.com and signed by the Director of AICC, Vivian K. A Asempapa, the AICC management says they have resolved the initial confusion which sought to prevent the Tiger Eye P.I team from using the venue to broadcast its investigative piece.
It said contacts have been established with the Tiger Eye team led by Anas Aremeyaw and the event is expected to come off as scheduled.
“Our attention has been drawn to reports that an advertised event due to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) by Tiger Eye was being moved from our venue.
The initial confusion was due to a scheduling conflict at the level of the AICC staff and not in any way a political decision as being speculated.
The matter has been resolved. We have made contact with the organisers and the event is expected to come off as scheduled.” The statement reads.
