The Christian Service University College (C.S.U.C) will this year, commence four new postgraduate programmes as part of its mandate to bring change to people and their communities, Purefmonline.com reports.
The programmes are; Master of Arts (MA), Communication Studies, Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Communication Studies, Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Mathematics Education and Master of Philosophy (MPhil), English Education.
The Dean of the University’s School of Graduate Studies and Research, Rev. Prof. Yaw Adu Gyamfi who announced this during a media launch said admission for these programmes are underway with plans concluded to begin next month.
He noted that the accredited programmes have been rolled out in affiliation with the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and are strategically tailored to meet acceptable academic standards.
“As part of our mandate, we exist to educate men and women to bring about change and development in our people and country through the training of minds, hearts and hands towards the advancement of our dear nation Ghana, West Africa, Africa and the world.”
“It has become necessary to expand our postgraduate programmes.
Today we are gathered here to launch four programmes that we believe will adequately prepare men and women to serve in various capacities toward the development of our people and communities.”
According to him, all the programmes have advantageous chances in the job market, from public to private or corporate sectors. He urged prospective students on to enroll in the CSUC to study any of these courses since there exist a readily available job market.
Rev. Prof. Adu Gyamfi indicated further that the varsity has tabled flexible academic delivery plan encompassing lectures, seminars and colloquiums done at conducive periods; weekends, evenings and regular times at their serene campus at Santasi, Kumasi to accommodate the working class who are largely encouraged to apply for any of the various programs.
