Audio: Prez. Rawlings died as a member of Akufo-Addo’s camp- Appiah Stadium alleges

A key stalwart of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti region (A/R), Appiah Stadium has alleged that the late founder of the NDC party, H.E Jerry John Rawlings passed away as a dyed in the wool associate of President Akufo-Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Purefmonline.com reports.

Appiah Stadium made this remark on Kumasi-based Sompa FM in a response to an ‘imposter’ comment made by Alhaji Mohammed Sani, a founding member of the NDC, on the station against Appiah Stadium.

In what can be described as a war of words, Appiah Stadium represented Alhaji Sani as an ‘old man who lacks wisdom’.

“If you read Job 32:9, it is written that not all old men with gray hair are wise.

If Alhaji Sani says I’m not a member of the NDC, that’s fine. But he should understand that President Kufuor worked for the PNDC for a period of 6 months.

Even Rawlings who is the founder of the NDC before his death was seen in the company of President Akufo-Addo.

At Alhaji Sani’s age, I don’t want to descend into the gutters with him but he should remember that, even Rawlings before his death was dyed in the wool fan of President Akufo-Addo”. He stated on Sompa FM.
