Let’s project Akufo-Addo’s achievements to ‘Break the 8’ – COKA

The former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency in the Ashanti region, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah alias COKA has charged party faithful to commit themselves to propagating the achievements of the government.

In order for the governing party to be able to break the eight-year rule jinx, he believes that, information about how far the Akufo-Addo government has come since taking power in 2017, should be made available and propagated to the appreciation of the electorate.

“It is possible for us to break the right, because the Akufo-Addo government has done so much for the development of Ghana; what is lacking is the information to flow down to the people. Let’s bring all hands on the deck to champion the cause of the party in order to make history in 2024 by winning the elections convincingly”, he told a charged audience who joined him in a health walk at Kodie in the Afigya Kwabre South District on Saturday.

He also urged the rank and file of the party to bury their differences and work towards the common cause of defeating the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), who in his estimation, have been the nemesis of Ghana’s development.

“The NPP is the only party that can transform Ghana; we are all witnesses to the mess which was created by the John Mahama administration before 2017; even without COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war, they still could not manage the helms of affairs of the country”, he added.

Since he lost his bid for the Ashanti regional chairmanship position in June, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah has relentless reenergised the base of the party through several social engagements aimed at fostering unity among the party folk in the Ashanti region.
