(PHOTOS): Kwame Adinkrah honored at KNUST
Broadcast Journalist, LutherKing Adinkrah popularly known as Kwame Adinkrah has been honored by the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for his illustrious service through the media to Ghana and KNUST as a whole, Purefmonline.com reports.
The distinguished media personality was presented with a citation honor by the General Secretary of the KNUST SRC, Miss. Benedicta Tiwaa in recognition of his exemplary journalistic standard and having served as a coach and role model to most aspiring journalists, particularly student-journalists from the KNUST.
The multiple award-winning broadcaster was the guest Chair of the 2022 KNUST SRC’s ‘Media Capacity Enhancement program’ which sought to edify the ethics of journalism into student-journalists and students from the Media and Communication department of the University.
Kwame Adinkrah used the occasion to share his success story with the participants of the event and urged them on to uphold the sanctity of the profession.
The event saw in attendance the University’s Relations Officer, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, Dr. Daniel Nkrumah (Lecturer, Department of Communication Studies, KNUST), Nana Kojo Jantuah (Broadcast Journalist and Manager of the University’s Focus FM) and other officials from the Varsity.
