Kwahu Easter: ABN, Republic Media partner Rock City Hotel for series of events
Holiday makers in Ghana this Easter holidays would be in for a great time if they choose to be in Kwahu in the Eastern region.
Rock City Hotel has lined up some of the finest entertainers in the country for back-to-back gigs in addition to pool parties and other social events for this festive season.
Highlife and hiplife legends, Amakye Dede, Stonebwoy, Samini, Kofi Kinata, Kuami Eugene, KiDi and a host of others are making their way to the Rock City to entertain revealers.
At the time of filling this report, hotels and guest houses in the Kwahu bloc were fully booked with hundreds of people still trooping in. Some natives who spoke with Purefmonline.com tells us, that some landlords are renting out rooms to visitors.
The annual Kwahu Easter celebration which has gained international recognition since its inception is one of the biggest tourism events on the calendar of the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture and the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
The annual event which brings dozens of tourists from the diaspora and serves as a major revenue booster for the hospitality players in the country was put on hold for two years due to Covid-19 restrictions.
