Former Ghana’s National team Captain, Asamoah Gyan has fumed over the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Coach Otto Addo’s failure to name Belgian First Division A club, Anderlecht’s Midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru in the new Blackstars call up list, Purefmonline.com reports.
Asamoah Gyan who described Ashimeru’s absence as ‘nonsense’ said a Twitter tweet captured by Purefmonline.com that the Anderlecht player is second to Arsenal’s Thomas Partey in terms of midfield quality we have in the Country.
“This guy @MajeedAshimeru is the best midfielder in Ghana, after @Thomaspartey22 PERIOD. I have kept quiet on this but this nonsense must stop. Smh.” Asamoah Gyan said in his post on Twitter.
