Bryan Acheampong rewards teachers in Kwahu East

The Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency, Bryan Acheampong has held Appreciation Day for teachers in Kwahu East in the Eastern Region of Ghana. 

The event which was held at Pepease was in line with his numerous interventions in the constituency.

In a citation to the best teacher, he said the recognition should be an assurance and a motivating factor for all teachers and other public sector workers in deprived communities that their hard work and selflessness will surely be rewarded.

The MP, has so far, met with about 22,000 public sector employees and individuals during the Christmas season.

The lawmaker also organized end of year party for fifteen thousand (15,000) children across the 22 electoral areas, two hundred and eight public servants, a combination of eight hundred and seventy (870) carpenters, masons and taxi drivers, six hundred (600) political activists in the Kwahu enclave and finally, one thousand nine hundred (1,900) teachers.

In summary, the MP has donated to twenty – two thousand five hundred and seventy (22,570) as at the year ending 2021. The MP indicated that a whooping Gh4.5 million, representing Gh45 billion old cedis has so far been spent.

Also, a pledge made in 2016, saw the MP assisted about one hundred (100) teachers from Presbyterian University College in Abetifi graduated with masters degree with about thirty of the remainder still in the process.
