Bogoso explosion: Bawumia to donate relief items to stranded victims

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia  is leading a government delegation to Apiatse to commiserate with victims of Thursday’s deadly explosion.
So far, 17 persons have been confirmed dead with 59 persons injured.
Several others were stranded after their homes were devastated by the explosion with most spending the night in schools and churches.
The Vice President is expected to donate relief items to these stranded persons and visit those receiving treatment at the hospitals.
He will be joined by government officials including ministers of state.
Meanwhile, an evacuation plan has been activated to move victims in critical conditions to medical facilities in Accra for further treatment.
